Bobby Dean Brown went to be with the Lord at 10:26 AM on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 88. He was born February 21, 1929 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to the late Herbert and Kathleen Love Brown.

He was owner and operator of the A & H Café in Ozark for over 30 years and was also retired from Harding Glass Company in Ft. Smith. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ozark and a Korean Veteran of the US Army, a recipient of the Purple Heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-mother, Leta South Brown; two brothers; three sisters; and two great-grandchildren, Caleb Lee-Campbell and Dawsen Lee.

Bobby was a 1948 graduate of Paris High school and a graduate of Westark Community College. He enjoyed visiting with all his customer and friends. He also adored and cherished time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Betty Ann Mayner Brown of Ozark; two daughters, Victoria Ann King and husband Gerald and Leta Darlene Morris and husband Bobby both of Ozark; four grandchildren, Uthana Michelle Lee, Brock Thomas Morris, Elizabeth Brooke Morris, all of Ozark, and Haley Elizabeth Shaw of Ratcliff, Arkansas; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jonah Shaw both of Ratcliff.

Graveside service with military honors will be held 10:00 AM Friday, March 3, 2017 at Highland Cemetery in Ozark with Brother Jan Akins officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

Serving as Honorary pallbearers are Brock Morris, Bobby Morris, Gerald King, Dr. Lane Wilson, Lonnie Turner, Jamie Shaw, Monte Canady, Ron Craig, Kenneth Smith, Bill Andrews, and Mike Leonard.

Betty A. Brown, age 89, of Ozark, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She was the owner and operator of A&H Café, the Vice-Chair of the Democratic Central Committee and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ozark. She was born January 19, 1932 in Ozark to Norman L. and Gertrude Victoria Blaylock Mayner. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Bobby Dean Brown; two sisters, Mary Jean Simpson and Norma Faye Jenkins; and two great-grandchildren, Dawson Lee and Caleb Campbell.
She is survived by two daughters, Victoria Ann King and husband Jerald of Ozark and Lita Darlene Morris and husband Bobby Ray of Ozark; one sister, Helen Vocile Johnson of Griffin, Georgia; four grandchildren, Uthana Michelle Lee, Brock Morris, Haley Shaw & Brook Ferguson; and two great-grandchildren Joseph and Jonah Shaw.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 21, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Morris, Lane Wilson, Robbie Simpson, Jerald King, Larry Wilson, Jamie Shaw, Robbie Simpson, Michael Jerald and David Jerald.
