SPRINGDALE — Herman Lee Sisemore, 84, of Springdale, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. He was born July 22, 1933, in the Hazel Valley community to Earl and Bethel (Stout) Sisemore.

Herman was a very active member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ where it he served as a deacon, was involved in many aspects of the bus ministry, and served on the board of Green Valley Bible Camp for many years.

He enjoyed restoring '65 and '66 Mustangs, and traveling the country including a trip to the Grand Canyon that he was then able to mark off his bucket list last year. He retired after over 40 years as a machinist from Heekin Can.

Above all, Herman was devoted to his God and family. His light will continue to shine brightly in the lives of everyone he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Ward) Sisemore, whom he married on Oct. 1, 1954; three children, Pam Thrower and husband Mitch of Tampa, Florida, Rick Sisemore of Springdale, Sharon Hash and husband Dan, also of Springdale; one brother, Lewis Sisemore of Rogers; one sister, Freida Hughes of Springdale; three grandchildren, Jason Sisemore, Josh Sisemore and wife Amber, Jana Zimmerman and husband Mike; and two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Asher.

A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. Interment will be at Stuckey Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home.
