Linda Yelvington, age 68, of Benton died Friday, November 11, 2011 in Conway. She was born June 20, 1943 in Crossett, Arkansas. Linda was a retired secretary for Old South Reality and a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Foy and Verbie Reed, husband, Don Yelvington, and several brother and sisters.
Survivors, son and fiance’ Brian Yelvington and Lauren Murphy, New York; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Yelvington Owen and husband Wilbur, Conway; brothers, Perry Reed, Sheridan; Steve Reed, Mississippi; Mike Reed Colorado; sister, Marilyn Webb, Bentonville; brother-in-law, Bill Yelvington, Louisiana; grandchildren, Lily Yelvington, and Levin Yelvington.
Family would like to thank all of her family and friends for their love and support and a special thanks to Dr. Marian Harrington and her staff and Salem Place Rehab for their care.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Benton. Minister will be Rev. Terry Parrish.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
