Viva Inez Dawson, age 90, of Hot Springs, died Monday, February 2, 2015. She was born on January 11, 1925 at Hot Springs, the daughter of John Graves and Bessie Crumpton Graves. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dennis Dawson; her daughter, Theresa Dawson; and her granddaughter, Shannon Burbridge. She was Baptist in her faith. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David Allen and Alex Dawson; two daughters and one son-in-law, Diana and James Burbridge and Debra Beaty, all of Hot Springs; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Tasha and Jamie Cheramie, Hannah Dawson, Angela and Patrick Lay, Katrina and Shane Robertson, Tiffany and Paul Palmer, Edward Beaty, Tyson Beaty, Jillian and Cody Messenger, Brent Beaty and Miranda Dawson; and twenty great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 5, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Rev. Shane Robertson officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Merritt, Aaron Stanich, Jamie Cheramie, Tyler Cheramie, Cody Messenger, and Jim Burbridge. Honorary pallbearers will be Christian Stanich, Gabriel Messenger, Edward Beaty, Brent Beaty, and Tyson Beaty. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
