TSgt. Gene Arden Ruple USAF (Ret.), age 80, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. He was born April 19, 1935 in Keeler Township, Michigan to the late Harold and Dorothy Ann Ruple. Mr. Ruple retired with over 20 years of service in the United States Air Force serving numerous tours in Viet Nam, and he earned 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses. His military career allowed him to serve his country around the world, stationed in France, Japan, Okinawa, Thailand, Philippines and numerous bases in the US. After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, travelling in his RV, coaching little league baseball, Woodworking, gardening, and was very active member of the retirees that met daily at McDonalds. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Betty Waldenmaier.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Delois “Dee” Ruple, one son Dale Arden Ruple and his wife Kimberly, grandchildren, Bradley Arden Ruple and his wife Sheri, Joshua Aaron Ruple and his wife Gina, great-grandchildren, Kylee Grace Ruple, McKenzie Lee Ruple, Cayleb Arden Ruple, Julian Aaron Ruple, and Joshua Maxey. He is also survived by his brother Wayne Allen Ruple and his wife Pat and one brother-in-law William Waldenmaier and numerous nieces and nephews.



Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home with military honors to follow.

Memorials may be made to the DAV or a charity of your choice.

Delois “Dee” Ruple, 82, of Jacksonville passed away April 3, 2021. She was born November 18, 1938 to the late Henry and Dahlia Reding in Batesville, Arkansas. Delois was a proud Air Force wife who supported her husband until his death in 2016. In her spare time, Delois enjoyed crafts, especially painting, and travelling in her RV. In addition to her parents, Delois was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Gene Ruple.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Dale Ruple; grandchildren, Brad (Sheri) and Joshua Ruple; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Julian, McKenzie, and Cayleb Ruple and brother, H.A. Reding.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Arrangements by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.

Kimberly Gayle Ruple, age 58, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at her home. She was born September 22, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas to J.L. Spinks and Mary Lou Gilpatrick Spinks. Kimberly married the love of her life Dale on January 12, 1980.

Kimberly retired from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she worked for over twelve years as Business Administer for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic In her spare time she loved spending time with her family, watching her children and grandchildren play sports and coloring. She loved flowers and watching blue birds, she will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Dale A. Ruple of the home; mother, Mary Lou Spinks of Concord; children Bradley Ruple and wife, Sheri of Jacksonville and Joshua Ruple and wife, Gina of Radcliff, Kentucky; sisters, Darla (Rick) Cesarski and Jana Spinks all of Batesville; brother, Mark (Stephanie) Spinks of Concord; grandchildren, Kylee Grace, McKenzie Lee, Cayleb Arden, Julian Aaron and Joshua Maxey; nieces, Kaylin Cesarski and Madalyn Reed; nephews, Steven Cesarski and Austin (Felicia) Spinks; great-niece, Emma Spinks; great-nephew, Joseph Cesarski; mother in-law. Delois Ruple and last but not least her beloved dog, Gracie Lee.

She was preceded in Death by her father, J.L. Spinks; father-in-law, Gene A. Ruple and infant brother, Timothy Spinks.

Memorial services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock with Pastor Rod Loy officiating. A second memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at First Baptist Church Concord, Arkansas with Brother, Lee Dillard officiating. Arrangement are by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
