April 20, 1925 - May 13, 2021

Harold Clinton Ferguson, 96, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born April 20, 1925 in Willow Springs, Missouri to Oscar Jefferson Ward and Bessie May Howell Ferguson. He was united in marriage to Emma Vaughn on July 28, 1950 in Rupert, Idaho. Harold was employed at Burlington Northern Railroad for 32 years. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He was of the Christian belief.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his son, Clinton Lee Ferguson; 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Emma of the home; children, Linda Howard (Terry), Ed Ferguson (Laura) both of Mountain Home, and Joe Ferguson (Lisa) of Hoxie; sister, Maxine Lattman of Chicago, Illinois; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, May 18, 2021, 1 p.m. in Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock. Rob Combs will officiate. Military honors will be rendered. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joe Ferguson II, Jason Ferguson, Josh Ferguson, Dillon Cagle, Todd Jones, and Dwight Ferguson.
