George Robert Seratte, 75, died Monday at his home in Summers, after a short illness. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Holiness church with Rev. Jim Ketcher, officiating, assisted by Rev. Elmer B. Anthony, Pastor. Burial was in the White Rock cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary Gilbraith and Mrs. Ophelia Myers, Westville, and Mrs. Daisy Gilbraith of Summers; three sons, Finis of Westville, Virgil of Hamburg, Ark., and Jay of Summers; four brothers, John Seratte of Nigeria, Calif.; Lum of Tulsa; Leonard, Chester, Ark., Will Seratte of Duncan; two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Parr of Plymouth, Calif., and Mrs. Alex Arlen, of Chester; 26 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
