May 28, 1953 - December 17, 2018
The Lord Called Diane Monk home on December 17, 2018. She fought a long hard battle for a long time. She went away to a land that is free from sickness, sorrow, pain and death. She was born on May 28, 1953 to the late Cartrie and Lota Monk.
She accepted Christ as a child and joined St. James A. M. E. Church located at 241 Center, Street, Camden, AR.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Monk Brooks. She leaves to cherish her memory a granddaughter, Jasmine Monk of Little Rock, AR; six sisters, Linda Monk of St. Louis, IL, Gwen Smith and Cathy Monk both of Little Rock, AR, Lois and Mattie Monk both of Dallas, TX and Alma Wade of Camden, AR; three brothers, Jimmy Monk of St. Louis, IL, Tommy Monk of Little Rock, AR and Harold Ray Monk of Oklahoma, OK; a host of nieces; nephews; and cousins; and a husband, Louis Tidwell of Pine Bluff, AR.
Funeral services for Diane will be 1:00PM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. James A. M. E. Church with burial in Eternal Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
