DECATUR — Raymond Junior "Joe" Kincheloe, 82, of Decatur died Sept. 30, 2006, at his home. He was born Aug. 6, 1924, in Logan community to Joseph and Alta Daniels Kincheloe.

He was a lifetime resident of the area, and worked in maintenance at Peterson Industries. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur.

Survivors include his wife, Arlis Mae Luther Kincheloe of the home, to whom he was married on July 14, 1949; three sons, Charles Kincheloe and wife Connie of Decatur, Bill Kincheloe of Decatur, Raymond Kincheloe and wife Cathy of Prairie Grove; five daughters, Sharon Gier and husband Kenneth of Cincinnati, Debbie Odgen and husband Dan of Rogers, Arleen Shumate of Decatur, Karen Cook and husband Steve of Savoy, Iva Cook and husband Darrell of Gentry; three sisters, Louise Wise of Lawton, Okla., Cora Faye Jones of Fort Smith, Norma Kauffeld of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Steve Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com.

Arlis Mae Kincheloe, 88 year old resident of Decatur, Arkansas, died on July 21, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on November 3, 1931 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Arley Luther and Etha Wright Luther. Arlis married Raymond Kincheloe on July 14, 1949 in Weddington, Arkansas. She was a farmer for Peterson Industries for many years. Arlis was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Kincheloe; parents, Arley and Etha Luther; and brother, Troy Luther.

She is survived by eight children: Bill Kincheloe of Decatur, Arleen Shumate of Decatur, Sharon Gier of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Charles Kincheloe of Decatur, Iva Jo Cook of Decatur, Karen Cook of Decatur, Debbie Ogden of Springdale, Arkansas, and Raymond Lee Kincheloe and wife Cathy of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother, Ray Luther of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2020 at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. For the funeral service and visitation, guests will be required to wear a facemask, per the guidelines set forth by the State of Arkansas. Visitation will be limited to 150 guests at one time.
