ROGERS — Walter "David" Chestnut, age 73, of Rogers died Friday, March 1, 2019, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County located in Bentonville, Ark. He was born in Yellville, Ark., on Jan. 5, 1946, the son of Walter and Telia Chestnut.
He was a mechanic, enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He was a member of Eastside Assembly of God Church located in Bentonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Cheyanne Rae Chestnut.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Gail Chestnut; six sons, James Chestnut and his wife Paige of Kansas, David Lee Chestnut and his wife Bonee of Huntsville, Deric Chestnut and his wife Ina of Rogers, Travis Chestnut of Rogers, Justin Chestnut and wife Amber, of Rogers, Samuel Doss and his wife Ashli, of Idaho; two daughters, Mary Ann Chestnut of Avoca, Heather Chestnut, of Centerton; brothers, Wayne Chestnut, Donnie and his wife Geri Chestnut, Eddie Chestnut; two sisters, Brenda Green and her husband Troy, of Missouri, Sharon Worley and her husband Henry, of Missouri; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Ark.
Memorials may be sent to: Eastside Assembly of God Church located in Bentonville with Pastor Robert Ward officiating.
