August 14, 1913 - February 4, 1974
Mrs. Christell Willis, 60, of Camden died Monday evening in a local hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Willis will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Greater Saint Paul Baptist Church. Dr. I. R. Dunn will officiate. Burial will be in Eternal Rest Cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Home. Mrs. Willis was born August 4, 1913 in Homer, La. She is survived by four sons, Herman Willis, Riverside, Calif., Charles Willis, San Diego, Calif., Earl Lee Willis, San Diego, Calif., Thomas Ray Willis, Camden; six daughters, Willie Lou Harris, Oakland, Calif., Miss Zelma Willis, Berkeley, Calif., Miss Mearl Lee, Miss Charlean Willis and Mrs. Nellie Ruth Bryant, all of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Bethel Hicks, Norphlet; five brothers, Otis Ridley, Los Angeles, Dodson Ridley, Homer, La., Son Wafer, Homer, La., Minniefield Wafer, San Diego, Calif., West Wafer; five sisters, Mrs. Maggie Higgin, Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Arrie Wildon, Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Maggie Applewhite, Shreveport, La., Mrs. Nora George, San Diego, Calif.; and 19 grandchildren.
