Jeffrey L. Carter was born in Camden, AR on August 26, 1972 to Robert Henry Carter (biological father) and raised by Lonnell Herron (Dad) and Mother Ellen Herron. He departed this life on January 8, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital (ICU), Little Rock, AR. Jeffrey was employed by Hayes Rental.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by two grandfathers; Bill Grant and Robert Lee Carter; one grandmother, Ellena Grant; two brothers, Steven, Herron and Lonnell Herron, Jr.; and one sister, Charlotte Crane (Donnie).
Jeffrey leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Erica Carter; three daughters, Rhonda Carter, Jalyn Haygood and Jade Thrower all of Camden, AR; two sons, Jeffrey Carter Jr. of Dallas, TX and Jaden Haygood of Camden, AR; his parents, Lonnell and Ellen Herron of Camden, AR; one brother, Koyama Carter of Stephens, AR; one sister, Tywanda Pye (Manuell) of Little Rock, AR, one grandmother, Lou Ellen King Carter of Waldo, AR; one favorite uncle, Dennis Grant of Camden, AR; three aunts, Elaine McDaniel (Dr. Ivory L. McDaniel) of Starkville, MS, Cynthia Carter and Jennifer Carter of Waldo, AR;
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Maul Road Church of Christ with burial in Eternal Rest Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
