Bruce Louis Tidwell was born July 18, 1954, to the late Louis Ray Tidwell, Jr. and Cassie Mae Moore Tidwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles Tidwell and one sister, Hazel Tidwell.
At an early age, he attended New Bethel Baptist Church.
On April 28, 1979, he married Cassandra Tidwell for thirty eight blissful years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather of his family first.
He was a Professional Truck Driver for twenty-two years. He enjoyed the work that was put before him. His CB name was “Superman”, the man of steel. When people passed by his home he made himself known, everyone knew “Superman”.
His legacy of survivors are three sons, Derrick Tidwell and Bruce Tidwell, Jr., Detroit, Michigan; Cornelius Tidwell, McKinney, Texas; and one daughter, Tracy Tidwell, Little Rock, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Luther Tidwell and George Tidwell, El Dorado, Arkansas; Earl Tidwell (Doris) Camden, Arkansas; a special Aunt and Uncle Cornelious Moore and Ollie Moore. An host of other relative, friends, nieces and nephews who will miss him tremendously.
