BORN IN ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY MISSOURI
Waldo, May 5 - Mrs. Mary Clay Lewis, aged 58, died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. H. Hendricks, near Waldo, after a short illness. She is survived by one son, A. E. Lewis of Calhoun, three daughters, Mrs. J. M. King of Magnolia, Mrs. D. H. Hendricks of Waldo and Mrs. W. H. Arnold of Texarkana. The funeral services were held at the home and burial was at Antioch East, near Magnolia, Wednesday, with the Rev. John H. Glass of Waldo officiating. (Arkansas Gazette - May 5, 1922)
