Lincoln - Charles Noah Pitts, 57, of Siloam Springs, died in a Siloam Springs hospital July 3. Born Dec. 25, 1910 at Odell, the son of Charles and Nora West Pitts, he was a member of the Holiness Church.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Nellie Myers Pitts of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Sanderson of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Betty Ann McGarrah of Siloam Springs; one son, Charles of Clarksville; two brothers, Harvey of Cedar Ridge, Colo. and Floyd of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Tucker of Mesa, Ark. and Mrs. Verna Rogers of Tulsa; his parents of Cane Hill and three grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Siloam Springs with burial in Beaty Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Nellie Frances Pitts, 93, of Siloam Springs died Nov. 6, 2009, at Gravette Hospital. She was born April 19, 1916, in Lincoln to N. James "Jimmy' and Nancy Sallee Myers.

She attended the House of Prayer Holiness Church.

She was employed by Simmons Industries for 27 years, and was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center where she was a member of the Ladies Quilting Group. She was a Sunday School teacher and did evangelistic work in various churches.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Noah" Pitts; one sister, Pearl Bradley; and two brothers, Elmer Myers and Luther Myers.

Survivors include one son, Charles Pitts of Siloam Springs; two daughters, LaVerne Sanderson of Oklahoma City and Betty Baker of Siloam Springs; one brother, James Myers of Springdale; one sister, Marie Roy of Lincoln; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were held Nov. 9, 2009, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial was in the Beaty Cemetery near Lincoln.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, www.luginbuel.com.
