Brandon “Toad” Joseph Ward, 33, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2021 at his home in Madison, AL.

Brandon was a Lineman, Fisherman, Hunter, Chef, Rock Climber, Rappeler, Lifeguard, Motorcyclist, Son, Brother, Uncle and friend, passed away on April 17th, 2021. Please remember him with a smile whenever you see High-Power Linemen restoring power to homes and businesses after a storm, when you see a lone man fishing a quiet pool of water, when you see a motorcyclist savoring the wind in their faces or a Chef working busily in the kitchen to feed friends and family with his tasteful, yet unique, creations.

Brandon was born to Kirk A. Ward and Patricia M. (Wood) Ward on August 7, 1987 at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He went to school at Stafford County Virginia School District and graduated from North Stafford High School. He worked as an Above Ground Lineman for PowerGrid Services. Brandon was also a proud member of the Semper Fi Riders Non-Profit Organization.

Survivors include his Parents, his sister Jennifer M. Wilson and her husband Sean Wilson of Bostic, North Carolina, his brother Kristopher A. Ward of Harvest, Alabama, his Paternal Grandfather Dr. Calvin H. Ward of Houston, Texas, his uncles, George Wood of Norwalk, Connecticut, Peter Ward of Dallas, Texas and Joel Ward of Wimberly, Texas, his nieces and nephews, Radian Lauron, Jade Ward, Noelle Wilson, Brody Wilson and Colt Wilson, his God Parents Joseph and Barbara Salvato of Brookfield, Connecticut, his Girlfriend, Meagan Ileen McGee of Athens, Alabama and his pup Askum.

Brandon was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother, Barbara Ward of Houston, Texas and his Maternal Grandparents, Douglas and Ruth Wood of Norwalk, Connecticut.

His life will be celebrated with Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, May 15, 2021 @ 12:00 at the St. John The Baptist Catholic Church Madison, Alabama.

Brandon will be interred at the Little-Jerusalem Family Cemetery located on the Ward Family Farm in Strawberry, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Semper Fi Riders, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of Marines and Navy FMF Corpsmen serving and supporting our local community by advancing the awareness of the needs and contributions of America's veterans and their families.
