Roy Jay, 85, of Lincoln, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 1994, at Washington Regional Medical Center. Born March 26, 1909, at Marble Falls, Texas, he was the son of William and Cora Scott Jay.

Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Jay of the home; a son, Jim Jay of Fort Smith; a daughter, Pauline Irwin of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren end 12 great-grandchildren.

Service is at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Lincoln with the Rev. Earl Adams and the Rev. Paul Young Officiating. Burial is in Beaty Cemetery in Lincoln.

Lincoln - Mrs. Jessie Fern Jay, 51, of Lincoln, died at a Fayetteville hospital Sunday. She was born Mar. 14, 1918 at Cane Hill, the daughter of William Nathan and Coreen Tyree.

She is survived by her Husband, Roy J. of the home; two sons, Jim of Fort Smith and Johnny of the U. S. Army; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Irwin of Lincoln; two brothers, Ben of Bonanza, Ore and Eldee of Fayetteville; a sister, Mrs. Coreen Paggett of Stilwell, Okla. and eight grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Presbyterian Church with burial in Beaty Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
