FAYETTEVILLE — Helen Elizabeth Ezell, age 95, of Fayetteville, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, in Springdale. She was born Aug. 17, 1920, in Wheeler, Ark., the daughter of Arthur Emile and Alta Jackson West. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Mrs. Ezell was a homemaker and a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, arid was a mother and grandmother to countless children in our community. She cared for babies and children in her home for many years, raising all with love and gentle kindness. Her impact will be felt for generations.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Ezell Eck and her husband Gareth of Fayetteville; three sons, James Ezell and his wife Betty of Fayetteville, Keith Ezell and his wife Linda of Ravenden, Ark., and Phillip Ezell and his wife Suzanne of Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren, Tracy Ezell, Mikala Ezell Castleberry; Elizabeth Ezell Kahn, Kristen Ezell Kilgore, Marianne Ezell, Melissa Ezell, Tara Eck Roussel, Vicki Ezell-Rodgers, Ryan Eck, Jessica Ezell Sheets, Jared Ezell, Cody Ezell, Ashley Dorcy, Amanda Davis, Allison Davis Rosas, Alex Davis; nineteen great-grandchildren; and dear friend Kathy Sprouse.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday at First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.
