PRAIRIE GROVE — Katherine Fay Dunham, age 79, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, in Prairie Grove. She was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Goose Creek, Texas, the daughter of Clay Adam and Lela May (Houchen) Risenhoover.

She enjoyed life growing up with a home full of family including nine siblings. She learned to love the Lord at a young age, influenced by her father that was a practicing lay Southern Baptist Minister in the Hugo/Broken Bow area. After marrying, she busied the next 25 years of her life in the floral shop business with the majority of that time at Ray's Flowers in Fayetteville. She attended the Farmington Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Dwain Goodwin, George Lowe and Ronald Dunham, one son, Nick Goodwin, four brothers, two sisters and her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Lewis and her husband Tim of Prairie Grove; one son, Greg Goodwin and wife Laurie of Fayetteville; one brother, Ed Risenhoover of Hugo, Okla.; two sisters, Betty Hester of Amarillo, Texas, and Audrey Brady of Broken Bow, Okla.; six grandchildren, Alex Goodwin, Zoe Goodwin, Matt Lewis, Brittany Lewis, Shelby Lewis, and Taylor Lewis and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Online guest book, www.luginbuel.com.
