Teressa "Terri" Jackson, age 73, of Pike City, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014.
She was born on April 25, 1941, at Murfreesboro, the daughter of William Harold Wright and Claudia Imogene Musgrove Wright.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gilbert Ryan Martin; her parents; her brother, Gilbert Wright; and three sisters, Shirley Lamb, Nancy Nichols and Minnie Mullins.
She was a home health care worker for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Jackson of Pike City; four children, Keith Fletcher of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Michelle Lea of Little Elm, Texas, Steven Martin of Murfreesboro and Don Martin of Little Rock; three step-children, Teresa Miller of Nashville, Tammy Cope of Nash, Texas and Trina Holbrook of Rockport, Texas; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Nell Ware of Texas City, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 17, 2014, in the Pike City Cemetery with Bro. Jim Shelby officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Parker, Neil Parker, Shane Bailey, Matthew Martin, Dell Keys and Charles Huffman.
Memorials may be made to the Pike City Landmark Missionary Baptist Church or to the account for our area Search and Rescue Units at any Diamond Bank.
