Mountain Home, Arkansas - A Funeral Service for Phillip Brian Bivin of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Sam Seamans and Mr. Scott Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 10, 2018, from 1:00 pm until service time, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.

Phillip passed away May 6, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 67. He was born September 30, 1950, in Cleveland, Oklahoma, the son of J.C. and Gladys Lurene Rose Bivin. He attended Kemper Military Academy and went on to Missouri Western State University, on a football scholarship, where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business. He married Martha Grigsby on January 1, 2000, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and was a sales representative for HD Supply/Core & Main for over 27 years. Phillip lived in Mountain Home since moving from Joplin, Missouri, in 2000.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Martha Bivin of Mountain Home, AR; son, Brian Bivin and grandson, Kai Bivin both of Texas; three brothers, David (Josa) Bivin of Jerusalem, Israel, Stephen (Julie) Bivin of Stroud, OK, and William (Suzy) Bivin of Ponca City, OK; brother-in-law, Mike (Brenda) Grigsby of Joplin, MO; nieces and nephews, Natan (Liat) Bivin of Jerusalem, Israel, Jason Bivin of Ponca City, OK, Amy (Dan) Brings of Mahtomedi, MN, Lori (Craig) Waxman of Havertown, PA, Jeremy (Lori) Bivin of Stroud, OK, Ryan (Lindsay) Bivin of Sand Springs, OK, James (Jessica) Grigsby of Pea Ridge, AR, and Micah (Susan) Grigsby of Webb City, MO; and his sidekick and Sales Assistant, Mike their 4 year old Doberman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Worriers or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
