CROCKETT, Charles H. - Fayetteville, Ark., July 18.- Charles H. Crockett, 30 years old, sergeant of Battery A, 200th Arkansas National Guards, searchlight battery here, died about 7 p.m. Tuesday at the base hospital at Fort Sill, Okla. from injuries received Monday night in an automobile accident at Fort Sill. Mr. Crockett suffered a fractured skull when an automobile, in which he was a passenger, overturned. The body will be brought to Fayetteville Thursday for funeral service and burial. Arrangements for the funeral were incomplete Wednesday. Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Esther Smith Crockett and a son, Charles, Jr., 3 years old, of Gentry, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Crockett Oldham, Little Rock, Ark. and his mother, Mrs. Willie V. Crockett, who is an instructor in expression at the University of Arkansas where she has been a member of the faculty for a number of years.
