Memorial Services for Joanne Arlene Carlstein of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 17, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Rodney Steele officiating.

Joanne passed away March 10, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. She was born December 9, 1932, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Herbert C. and Clara V. Mair. Joanne attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She married Gerald Robert Carlstein in 1954. They had one son, Mark and one daughter, Claire. Joanne worked with Jerry at his company, Fleet Services, Inc. for 25 years. In June 1996, they moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Mark (Lynne) of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and daughter, Claire (David) Lievrouw of West Allis, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Benjamin Carlstein, Julie (Jayson) Mauer and son, Jacob and Adam and Angela Lievrouw and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a Christian church or a service organization of your choice.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
