A Celebration of Life for Myra Sue McGee of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, December 16, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Wayne Heidi officiating.

Myra passed away December 11, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 77. She was born February 9, 1939, in Hartsburg, Illinois, the daughter of Fredrick and Marjorie Hoerr Hamer. She married Vernon McGee on June 9, 1991 in Deming, New Mexico and worked as a certified nurse's assistant for the Area Agency on Aging. Myra lived in Mountain Home since 1991, moving from New Mexico. She enjoyed people and loved to read and listen to music.

Myra is survived by her husband, Vernon McGee of Mountain Home, AR; three sons, Tim (Kat) Hennings of Centerville, GA, Paul (Lisa) Hennings of Spokane WA and David (Dorinda) Hennings of Macon, GA; two daughters, Faith (Mike) Toth and Melodye Hennings both of Mountain Home, AR; two sisters, Catherine (Bill) Shahan of Morton, IL and Carolyn (Tom) Reeves of Fairfield, IL and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Calvin Hennings; son, Steven Hennings and brother, Danny Hamer.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
