Ruby Louella Cooper, 69 of Walnut Ridge; died April 5, 2021 in the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born February 27, 1952 in Palestine; daughter of the late, William “Bill” and Wanda Gibson Jackson. Ruby worked early in life on a farm and later in a factory; but to her the most important job she did, was raise her three children. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, watching Westerns, and spending time with her grandbabies.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Edward Cooper; and a daughter, Ruby “Susie” McComas.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Cooper II of Walnut Ridge; a daughter, Wanda (Jamey) Daughhetee of Pocahontas; three grandchildren, Jake Cooper, Rayce Daughhetee and Johnny “Scooter” Cooper III; one brother, James Jackson of Boydsville; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be Thursday, April 8, 2021 in the Duty Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday from 12 P.M. till 1:30 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel.
