August 7, 1918 - October 30, 2013
Blanchie Ferrell, 95, of East Palo Alto, Calif., and formerly of Bearden, died on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Lytton Gardens Healthcare Center in Palo Alto. She was born on Aug. 7, 1918, in Bearden and was the widow of Waymond Ferrell Sr. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Palo Alto. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Lambert and Ivory Lambert. She is survived by sons, Waymond Ferrel of Palo Alto, Thomas Ferrell of Yuba City, Calif.; daughter, Anne Zabaldo of Palo Alto; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild. Arrangements are by Marks Funeral Home of Fordyce. Funeral services were held Saturday at White Springs AME Church in Bearden with Dr. Lyndon Ivor Lambert officiating. Burial was at White Springs Cemetery in Bearden.
