GRAVETTE — Robert Franklin LaGore, 80, of Gravette, passed away July 16, 2016 in Bentonville. He was born July 24, 1935 in Jonesboro, Ark., the son of Homer Franklin and Ruby Myrtle Williams LaGore. He was a welder and built car hauler trailers for Jack Cooper Transport. Robert was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette, the Cass County Sheriffs Posse. He also enjoyed raising and training horses and built wagons and horse trailers.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Ball LaGore of the home; four daughters: Connie Pollock (Bruce) and Kay Stanbarger (Chuck), all of Belton, Mo., Betty June Guevel (Don) of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Barbara Sue LaGore (Kurt) of Cleveland, Mo.; his sister, Joanne Heinke of Kansas City, Mo.; three step children: Chea Ball, Laneya Sharp (Chuck), and Allen Ball; six grandchildren: James McKown, William Pollock, Casey Tibbs Steinmetz, Joseph Pollock, Austin and Morgan Hyden; one great-granddaughter, Ehler Pollock; one nephew, Nelson Heinke; six step grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Gravette. Memorial contributions to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72764. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. GRAVETTE — R. Clarice Lagore, 68, of Gravette died Dec. 20, 2005, at St. Mary's. Hospital in Rogers. She was born July 21, 1937, in Kansas City, Mo., to Eugene Paul and Ida W. Pitts Fish. She was a real estate broker and had been a member of the Shearin-Hathway Group before retiring. She was a former member of the Board of Realtors, and a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette. She enjoyed raising flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Robert F. Lagore; three sons, Doug Frierson of Bella Vista, Mike Boyd and Jeff Boyd, both of Rogers; five daughters, Sandra Beal of Centerton, Connie Pollack, Kay Stanbarger and Barbara Lagore, all of Belton, Mo., and June Gravel of Bates City, Mo.; two brothers, Bob Fish and Alden Fish, both of Spring Hill, Kan.; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette with John Powell officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery at Gravette.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Bentonville.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Andy Beal, Turner Beal, Corey Frierson, Aaron Frierson, Michael Boyd and Chris Boyd.
