C.A. “Al” Casey, 86, of Gravette, Arkansas died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his home in Gravette. He was born on January 23, 1927 in Miami, Texas to Alton B. Casey and Inez Bryant Casey.

He was raised and educated at Miami, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. Al married Ellen Featherston on May 27, 1950 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He worked in Wichita, Kansas for Cessna Aircraft from 1950 until 1961. They moved to Arkansas where he worked as a carpenter and farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ellen Casey of Gravette, Arkansas; one son, Frank Casey (Linda) of Gravette, Arkansas; one daughter, Carol Wills (David) of Gravette, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Mindy Wills, Cole Casey and one great-grandson, Corbin Casey.

A Graveside Service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Bethel Cemetery in Gravette, Arkansas. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Home Church c/o of Jim White, 3207 Red Fox Ridge, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712.

Ellen Louise Featherston Casey, 88, of Gravette, Arkansas died Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Brookfield Assisted Living in Bella Vista. She was born November 26, 1931 the daughter of Samuel and Ollie Featherston.

Ellen graduated from Bentonville High School in 1949 and enjoyed her monthly class luncheons. She also enjoyed embroidering tea towels.

May 27, 1950 Ellen married Al Casey in Bentonville. They lived in Wichita, Kansas until 1961 when they moved to Arkansas where she worked for Benton County as a delinquent tax collector. She was a member of New Home Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Charles Al Casey, her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Ellen is survived by one son, Frank Casey (Linda) of Gravette; one daughter, Carol Wills (David) of Gravette; two grandchildren, Mindy Bryant (Doug) of Gravette, Cole Casey of Bentonville; step-grandchildren Cathleen Petty of Centerton, Christine West of Rogers; and two great-grandsons, Corbin Casey of Commerce, OK, Kendal Bryant of Gravette; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17th at Bethel Cemetery in Gravette, Arkansas with Randy Featherston officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Home Church PO Box 1352, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712.
