Charles Leon Kirby, 95, passed away on March 20, 2021 at his home. He was born in Centerton, Arkansas on August 13, 1925 to the late Fred and Cathryn (Forquer) Kirby. Charles served in the Marines during War II. He received a Purple Heart for wounds received during combat on May 4, 1945. He was a member of the VFW Post 3031 and a past member of Masonic Lodge Post 460. Charles and his late wife, Charlyne used to love to travel in their RV. He also enjoyed fishing and camping in his spare time. In addition to Charlyne, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gene and his sister, Bobbie Brooks. Charles is survived by his son, Mike and his wife, Kathy of Bentonville; daughter, Jeanie Easterling of Rogers; sister, Doris Gilman; 4 grandchildren, Bailey, Skyler, Ann, and Joe; 6 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandson, Connor. A graveside service will be Friday, March 26, 2021 at 2pm in Barron Cemetery in Vaughn. Online condolences can be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.

Jessie Charlyne Kirby, 77, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare. She was born Feb. 12, 1927, in Felt, Okla., to the late Clair Venters and Beatrice Munch Venters.
She enjoyed traveling, camping, knitting and her family. She worked over 11 years at Wal-Mart. She was a member of Vaughn Presbyterian Church and a Purple Heart Auxiliary member.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles L. Kirby of the home; son, Mike Kirby of Centerton, Ark.; daughter, Lois Jean Easterling of Rogers; brother, Roger Venters of Rogers and sisters, Elizabeth Harris of Bentonville, Marjorie Patrick of Ponca City, Okla., and Julian Bequette of Centerton.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Ann McDonough, Joe Kirby, Skyler Easterling and Bailey Easterling and four great-grandchildren, Andy and Tim McDonough and Josh and Ryan Kirby.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Barron Cemetery in Vaughn, Ark.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
