June 25, 1882 - January 17, 1968
Mrs. Amy Beatrice Culp Higginbotham, 85, of Bearden died in a Camden nursing home early Thursday morning. She was a lifelong resident of Bearden and Ouachita County. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Bearden. She is survived by two sons; B. N. Fike of Sheridan and G. W. Fike of Little Rock; one daughter, Mrs. George Colvert of Clifton, Texas. One sister, Mrs. M. B. James of Bearden, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Proctor Funeral Chapel with burial in Moss cemetery at Bearden. (Camden News - January 18, 1968)
