Wanda Lee Sexton
September 18, 1928 - March 16, 2021
Wanda Lee Sexton, 92 of Saffell, departed this life Tuesday March 16, 2021 at her home.
She was born September 8, 1928. The love of sewing and quilting was a large part of her life. She made several quilts for all her family. She loved family and knew exactly how everyone was related to each other. She liked to sit and talk about the old days and her family loved to hear her tell those stories. Wanda Lee had made peace with the Lord, and her family watched as God transformed her into an even sweeter & more loving lady. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, a grandson; a brother; and a sister.
She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Bradley of Swifton, Dorothy Reed of Strawberry, & Leona Polston of Saffell; son, Tony Huskey of Evening Shade; brother, George Herring of Strawberry; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, & friends.
Visitation will be Monday March 22, 2021 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at Mount Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Saffell.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM at Mount Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Jimmy Polston & Greg Tucker officiating.
Interment will be in Lincoln-Ward Cemetery under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, Arkansas.
