Larry Eason, 68, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born July 30, 1942 in Monticello.

He was a retired postal carrier, a former Drew County Justice of the Peace, currently worked for Mr. Bug, was an avid golfer and attended First Assembly of God Church. He was the son of the late Austin Jacob Eason and Lucille Chatham Eason Brown and was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Alan Eason, one stepdaughter, Kathy Donaldson and one brother, Dennis Eason.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Cheshier Eason of Monticello; two sons, William Steve Eason and Brian Larry Eason, both of Monticello; one daughter, Debra Kay Sharp of Monticello; one step-brother, Louis 'Butch' Brown of Little Rock; one step-sister, Sandi Brogan of Redding, CA; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
