Joe Edward Mills, 70 of Pine Bluff, went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2012. He was born September 28, 1941 to the late Woodrow and Rubye Mathis Mills. He was reared in Monticello. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Cargo Carriers. He was a family man who enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and grilling for family gatherings. He loved taking pictures and videos of family, especially the grandkids. He is survived by his wife; Linda Porter Mills, whom he married on December 5, 1959 in Watson, AR, 3 daughters; Latecia Mills of Shawnee, KS, Sheila Inman of Star City and Cindy Belvedresi (Danny) of Star City, 6 grandchildren; Joseph House, Sara Inman, Jacob Inman, Jennifer Inman, Brandon Belvedresi and Megan Belvedresi, 1 brother; Joey Woodrow "Woody" Mills, Sr. (Mary) of Monticello, mother-in-law; Pauline Porter of Pine Bluff and an aunt; Bernice "Mutt" Parrott of Crossett. Funeral Services are 10:00AM Thursday at Griffin Funeral Chapel. Bro. Wayne Porter and Bro. Don Borland will officiate. Visitation is 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Campground Cemetery near Monticello. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online guestbook at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
