Hubert Thomas "Tommy" Hooks, Jr., age 66, of Monticello, AR. died Friday November 30, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. Born August 20, 1946 in Pine Bluff, AR. a son of the late Hubert Thomas Hooks, SR. and Sellema Mae Cloninger Hooks he was a retired right of way agent for Mustang Engineering and a Baptist. Also, preceding him in death was a son Bryan Thomas Hooks and a sister Julia Allen.
Survivors are 2 sisters Guyla Templeton, Banks, AR. and Margaret Shields, Decatur, AL.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Wednesday December 5, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Johnny Holyfield officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Adams Singer Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jimmy Allen, Billy Shields, Guy Thomas Pietre, Johnny Holyfield, Jr., Devin Templeton, Troy Smith and Jason Dupree. Honorary pallbearer was Shelby Templeton.
