December 24, 1916 - April 13, 2017
Rupert Calvin Tate age 100, died Thursday April 13th, 2017 in Warren, AR. He was born December 24th, 1916 in Bradley County, AR a son of the late Willie Calvin Tate and Christy Mae Hill Tate. He was a machinist with Potlatch Timber Company for 34 years, he attended Immanuel Baptist Church and was a United States Navy Veteran. He was also preceded death by his wife, Betty Sullivan Tate and a brother John Luther Tate.
Survivors include a son, Pete Patrick Tate, Pine Bluff, AR and a daughter Judy Sullivan Houston and spouse Roger, Rock Springs, AR. 3 grandchild and 6 great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews in Ohio and California.
Graveside service with flag presentation honors was 10:00 AM Saturday, April 15th at Adams-Singer Cemetery with Rev. Michael Stroh officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer's Funeral Home.
