Douglas Alton Foreman, 63, from Mountain Home, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Today we celebrate his life with the joyful confidence that he is in a far better place. Doug touched so many lives in the Mountain Home community. He never knew a stranger, and he was always ready with a cheerful word or a corny joke. Although there are so many things that we will remember about this man who was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and a generous friend, we will remember him most for three things. First of all, Doug was a man who loved Jesus. He always sought to be a man after God's own heart, and to seek him first in all things. He was well known for the gospel tracks he always carried, and his passion for sharing his faith with others. His greatest desire was to live a life that would bring glory to God, and lead others to Christ. Secondly, Doug was a man who loved his family. After 35 years of marriage, he still affectionately called his wife his bride, and he was the proud father of eight children. Whether he was cheering for his kids at Bomber games, taking them skiing on Lake Norfolk, or camping and riding bikes in the Ozarks, he was always happiest when his family was all together. His family will remember John Denver sing-alongs around the campfire, his Thanksgiving prayers, and mornings gathered in Wisdom Searches. And finally, Doug was a man who loved people. He was beloved by his co-workers at Baxter Regional Medical Center, where he worked as a cardiac sonographer, and by his fellow church members at The River Bible Church. He cared deeply about others, and invested his time and resources in his relationships. He was a great example to all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Mary Foreman and his daughter Joanna Arnold; his daughter and son-in-law Rebekah and Zack Holder; his daughter Susanna Foreman; his son Paul Foreman; his son Craig Foreman; his daughter Patricia Foreman; his son Luke Foreman; his daughter Anna Grace Foreman; his granddaughters Emery and Kylen Holder; and his sister Pamela Rose.

Visitation will be Friday, November 6th from 4-8pm, with the family receiving visitors from 5pm-8pm. The funeral will be Saturday, November 7th at 11am.

Both services will be held at Eastside Baptist Church.

In honor of Doug, two memorial funds have been set up for his family at Arvest Band and TLC Bank.

Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
