March 24, 1952 - February 19, 2021
Shirley Ann Uselton, age 68, of Cecil, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and beloved son February 19, 2021. She was born March 24, 1952 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Raymond P. and Gladys Helen Scott Smith. She was raised in Arkoma, Oklahoma. She was a retired teacher/counselor of the Mulberry/Pleasant View Bi-County School District, a member of the Cecil United Methodist Church and an avid lover of animals especially her cats. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Roy Clayton.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Uselton of Cecil; her granddaughter, Cassie Uselton; her brother, Scotty Smith and wife Shirley; a niece, Laina Jennings and husband Tim; many other nieces and nephews; and two special young ladies Christy Millican and Christy “Lou”.
Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday February 23, 2021 at Cecil Cemetery with Dale Richardson and Wendi Acord officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Alex Clayton, Wyatt Lowery, Trea Lowery, Heath Rainwater, Branson Meins, Tanner Acord, Brenton Jennings and Kavan Kilgore, honorary pallbearers are Rick Stone and Family, Matt Lockard, Cecil United Methodist Church Family and Kennan Terry Family.
