Hurley McLeod, age 82, of Warren, AR. died Tuesday April 19, at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce, AR. Born April 21, 1928 at Gravelridge, AR. a son of the late Samuel McLeod and Hazel Wilkerson McLeod he was a retired mechanic for Potlatch Corporation and a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife Pauline Woodard McLeod whom he married August 2, 1947. 2 daughters Paulette Johnson, Hot Springs, AR. and Tammy Stephens, Fordyce, AR. 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Thursday April 21, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Richard Gambill officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Cobie Bernard. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Petie Woodard, Russell Woodard, Robert Woodard, Harold Woodard, Jr., Chad Johnson, Ron Johnson, James Wilkerson and Horace Reid Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Johnson, Eddy Don Russell, Charlie Morgan, Bobby Ray Williams, Billy Ray Williams, Bill Abernathy, Robert Jennings, Carroll Morgan, Dr. James W. Marsh, Kenneth Thompson, Bobby Watkins, Wade Partridge and Sunday Afternoon Baseball Players.
