Robert Thomas Riddle, age 96, a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away August 17, 2020.

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He touched the lives of everyone who crossed his path and will be remembered by each of them.
Robert was a veteran of World War II where he served as a Navy Corpsman in the Pacific. After the war he came home to Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas. He retired as a chemist from Delta Commodities in New Orleans. Upon returning to Fayetteville he became a door greeter at Walmart where he would eventually retire again. As a door greeter he never met a stranger and endeavored to get a smile on the face on each customer that walked through the doors.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Ann Riddle and brothers, Saint Riddle and Charlie Riddle.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory a sister, Zelda Gibbs; his only son, David Riddle and wife, Kathryn; grandchildren, Elijah Riddle and wife Iva, Carmen Riddle, Timothy Hanson and Robert Hanson; great-grandchildren Nola, Audrey, Mason and their grandmother Elena James.

Graveside service will be at ll:00 am, Friday, September 4, 2020 at Highland Cemetery, Ozark, Arkansas, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.

Ann Chancey Riddle, age 94, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday May 1, 2019 in Fayetteville with her husband by her side.
She was born January 28, 1925 in Elkins the daughter of James A. and Addie Canady Chancey. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was married to the love of her life, Robert Riddle for 72 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Ann was very artistic, she painted ceramics, played the piano and had a lovely voice for singing.

She is survived by her husband Robert Riddle; a son David Riddle and his wife Kathryn; two grandchildren Eli Riddle and his wife Iva and Carmen Riddle and three great grandchildren Mason Riddle, Nola and Audrey Gardiner.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 7, 2019 at Moore’s with Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Ozark, Arkansas.
