Lois M. Welter, age 85, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 5, 1928 in Wilmette, Illinois to Hubert and Louise (Dittmer) Hoffmann.
Mrs. Welter married Charles "Chuck" Welter November 26, 1949 in Wilmette, Illinois. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Mountain Home. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxillery.
Mrs. Welter is survived by four daughters: Susan Wartalski and husband Robert of Prospect Heights, Illinois, Peggy Welter of Mount Prospect, Illinois, Nancy Welter of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Carol O'Connor and husband Steven of Petersburg, Illinois, a son: Steve Welter and wife Carolyne of Wittmann, Arizona, a sister: Rosemary Hoffman and husband Ken of Libertyville, Illinois, a brother: Richard Hoffmann and wife Terry of Northfield, Illinois, three grandchildren: Kristin Emerson, Kelly Neurauter and husband Herb and Sierra O'Connor and two great-grandchildren: Jake and Lily Neurauter. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Serenity in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
