October 19, 1939 - January 25, 2012
James Boyd Lessley, 72, of Alma entered into rest on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, in a local hospital.
He was a retired employee of General Motors, where he worked for 30 years, and a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Lessley of the home; one son, Larry B. Lessley and wife Colleen of Minneapolis; one sister, Doris Overbey and husband Dale of Van Buren; one brother, Larry B. Lessley and wife Charlotte of Mulberry; one niece, Robin Freeburg of Illinois; and three nephews, Randy Overbey of Indiana, Frank Lessley of Mountainburg and Robert Lessley of Arkansas.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at Highland Cemetery in Ozark.
Pallbearers will be Robert Lessley, Frank Lessley and Kendal Lessley, Randy Overbey, Benton Gibson and Bob Harmon.

Rebecca Jane Lessley, 76, of Barling, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018.
She was born January 7, 1942 in Seco, Kentucky to the late Benton and Edith Day Gibson, Sr.
She was a type setter for Baptist State Convention of Michigan and was a member of Concord Baptist Church of Van Buren.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, James Boyd Lessley.
Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at Highland Cemetery in Ozark, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include one son; Larry B. Lessley and wife Colleen of Saint Louis Park, MN; a brother, Benton Gibson, Jr. of Attica, MI and two sisters; Leslie Gabbard of North Vernon, IN and Geraldine Taurence of Wyandotte, MI.
