Theron James “Sonny” Hill of Ozark, Arkansas died Monday, December 24, 2018 in Ozark.
He was a retired Pipe Fitter, Welder, Construction Manager, and former employee of AOG of Fort Smith; also President of Auxiliary Arc Gun Club, a Deacon at the Faith Based Baptist Church, Navy Veteran, and avid outdoorsman. He was born July 15, 1938 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Richard and Lotha Milton Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, James Craig Hill.
Sonny is survived by his wife, Pat Walls Hill of Ozark; a son, Rick Hill of Little Rock, Arkansas; one grandchild, Jennifer Edra of Austin, Texas; two great grandchildren, Zaden James and Calianna; brother-in-law, Bob Bevil and wife Pat of Ozark; and a sister-in-law, Nina Bahnks and husband Dave of Van Buren, Arkansas.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday December 28, 2018 at Highland Cemetery with Brother Jan Akins officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street of Ozark.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Adrean Morse, Bob Bevil, Larry Stacey, Lonnie Turner, Dennis Deatherage, Bob Howard, and Ken Penix.
