Vivian Jeanette Bailey went home to her heavenly rest on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was born Vivian Jeanette Folkerts on December 14, 1929 in Memphis, Tennessee. She married the love of her life, Jack Augustus Bailey on February 24, 1956.
From this day on she spent the remaining 60 years of her life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She gave birth to three children Jack, Raymond and Cheryl. Her greatest pleasure in life was her family and her undeniable love for her heavenly father and was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church. She constantly sacrificed all to encourage and provide a home of unconditional love, unshakeable faith, and deep-routed unity. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were a special, precious joy to her and she nurtured them with the same love and values as she did her own children.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack, and her younger son, Raymond. She is survived by her older son Jack, her daughter Cheryl and her husband Danny, her grandchildren, Jack, Emily, Jessica, Chelsie and their spouses, and Cody, and her great-grandchildren Briton, Bailey, Hayes, Harvey, Kaydence, Sylas; her sister Alice Sexton, and her brothers James and Joe Folkerts.
Tuesday evening God decided His earthly angel’s job here was completed, so He brought her home to Him in peace. We Love You!
Her services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in East Camden, AR on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 3:00pm followed by burial at Moss Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 1:00pm.
