Sarah E Cogdell 75, of Louann, AR passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Ouachita County Medical Center. Sarah was born May 1, 1944 in Russellville, AL. She was the daughter of Leo and Rosie Stovall Looney.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Rosie Stovall Looney; sisters, Marylou Hathcoat, Barbara Koloff, Bernice Gatewood, Margaret Alexander; daughter, Tammy Bates; granddaughter, Kayla Cogdell.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Cogdell; sons, John Cogdell, Joe Scott, James Cogdell; brother, Roland Looney; grandchildren, Lana Sullivan, Christopher Bates, Sara Bates, Tasha Shauff, Darian Cogdell, Thomas Cogdell, Stephanie Cogdell; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Monday, January 13, 2020 at Proctor Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00AM Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Moss Hill Cemetery, Bearden, AR. Burial will be in Moss Hill Cemetery.
