*Obituary
Naomi Chambliss, age 80, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019.
She was born June 16, 1939 in Star City, Arkansas, a daughter of Willie Burns and Marie Johnson Burns.
She was a bank vice president and, a member and also former church treasurer of First Baptist Church in Perryville.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelia (John) Sumner and Nona Kay (Ronald) Byrd; son, Jamie (Jamie) Chambliss; grandchildren, Daryld Lee Pottorff, Delia (Jim) Garber, Stephanie Toon, Stephen (Bethany) Byrd, and Makenzie Chambliss; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Francis Manning, Juanita (Raymond) Green, and Elizabeth Cogbill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Chambliss; and great grandchild, Angelina Pittman.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 9, at First Baptist Church in Perryville with Bro. Ronald Byrd officiating.
Burial will be 2:00 p.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Star City.
