December 08, 1947 - February 04, 2021
On Thursday, February 4, 2021, Mildred Treadway, loving wife and mother of two, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family at the age of 73.
Mildred, of the Baptist faith, was born on December 8, 1947 in Poughkeepsie, AR to Lee and Lola Milligan. On September 3, 1971, she married Truman Treadway to whom she remained married 49 years until her passing. Together, they raised a son and a daughter, Patrick and Kimberly. Mildred had a passion for spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren.
She was known for her loving spirit, infectious smile, compassion for animals and strong work ethic. Mildred loved to travel while listening to The Beatles coupled with the occasional stop at surrounding flea markets to search for her beloved gas lanterns.
Mildred was preceded in death by her father, Lee, and her mother, Lola.
She is survived by her husband, Truman, her two children Patrick and Kimberly and three grandchildren Victoria, Madelyn and Marcus.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Townsend Cemetery in Smithville, AR at 2:00 p.m. Flowers can be sent to Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City or a donation can be made in her name to Arkansas Hospice.
