Marguerite Catherine Clark Hillier, age 62, of Texarkana, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2015. Marguerite was born November 24, 1952, in Texarkana, Arkansas and had been a lifetime resident.

She was a graduate of Arkansas High School, Henderson State College, and had achieved Master School Principal from the State of Arkansas. She had taught at the Texarkana Arkansas School District her entire career, having taught at North Heights Junior High School and Washington Intermediate School, and had been principal at Trice Elementary, College Hill Elementary, and College Hill Middle School, and was currently the Principal at College Hill Elementary. Not only was education her career, it was also her hobby. She loved education and administration and the countless children she taught through the years. She was a lifetime PTA member and the Arkansas PTA Administrator of the Year in 2003.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alvaretta Clark, a sister, Rebecca Mims, and a brother, Mark Clark.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-seven years, James Hillier of Texarkana, Arkansas, one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Joe Wall of Texarkana, Arkansas, one son, David Hillier and Lindsey Smith of Texarkana, Arkansas, two sisters and one brother-in-law, Alicia and Ray Willis of Texarkana, Texas, and Marsha McGaugh of Texarkana, Texas, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Mary Kay Clark of Magnolia, Texas and Ricky and Kim Clark of Texarkana, Arkansas, another brother-in-law, Gary Mims of Texarkana, Texas, two grandchildren, Kaylee Smith and Landon Smith, and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 P. M. Saturday at Faith Assembly of God Church with Rev. Brian McDonald officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens.
