Violet Ledford Lyons Sipes, 75, of Batesville died Wednesday, June 14, 2006.
Born Jan. 1, 1931, in Twin Creek, she was the daughter of F.W. and Orlena McCormack Ledford.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Lyons of Zion; four daughters, Joyce Crenshaw of Cushman, Janet Harris of Batesville, Carol Pyle of Papillion, Neb., and Patty Demster of Cave City; a brother, David Ledford of Batesville; two sisters, Patty Pinkston of Batesville and Lorene Driscall of Kettle Falls, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert W. Lyons; a daughter, Pamela J. Parker; two brothers, Jasper Ledford and Lois Ledford; and a sister, Ruby Arnold.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Willis-Hays Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Jackie McCarroll officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Cushman.
Pallbearers will be Brad Jenkins, Earl Lyons, Robbie Lyons, Joshua Mohlke, Larry Pyle II, Mike Pyle and Chris Pyle.
