LOWELL — John J. Remington, 78, of Lowell went home with the Lord away May 28, 2016, at Shiloh Health and Rehab. He was born May 22, 1938, in Prairie Grove, Ark., to H.H. and Edith Remington.
John was a truck driver most of his life and was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lowell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Reta Remington of the home; children, Dusty Remington and wife Mary of Lowell, Misty Remington and husband Dave of Rockville, Md., and Kelly Remington of Dallas, Texas; two grandsons, Tyler Remington and wife Tiffany of Springdale and Zac Remington of Bella Vista; and two great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
Graveside services 4 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Spring Creek Cemetery; Cave Springs. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
