Jaeda Christine Knight, Daughter of Christopher Allen Knight and Ashley Marie Raker was born January 8, 2007, in Mountain Home, AR at Baxter Regional Medical Center passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at the age of 13. Jaeda loved life; she enjoyed playing basketball, competing in pageants, and spending time at the creek and lake with her family and friends. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her dad in the woods or playing in the water. She also enjoyed spending her weekends with her mother, beach vacations with family, hanging out with friends especially her best friend Kaylen, spending time with her baby cousin, Letti, and playing with her pets. Jaeda was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of Arbanna Baptist Church. She was saved April 26, 2015 and baptized shortly after.
Jaeda is preceded in death by her Papaw Donnie Carroll, Great Grandma and Grandpa Atkins, her Great Uncle Michael Knight, her Great Uncle Steven Knight, her Great Grandma Jean Knight, and her Great Grandma Carolyn Raker.
Jaeda is survived by her Father Christopher Knight, her Mother Ashley Raker, her Mimi Dina Atkins and Grandpa Jim Atkins, her Grandpa Byron Knight, her maternal Grandparents Jim and Connie Raker, her Maternal Grandma Cherie Brannon, her Paternal Mamaw Barbara Carroll four Uncles Jordan, Kenny, Cameron, Colter, eight Aunts Venus (Bill), Amber, Alexis, Allyson, Kelsey, Breanna, Sesaley, Savannah, twenty-four cousins Letti, Jenna, Raena, Ali (Trey), Kendra, Kagan, Karter, Serenity, Masyn, Emmett, Ellie, Cassidy, Carter, Jude, Jaycie, Christina, Mattie, Tony, Asle, Kylie, Aubrey, Kayla, Destry, Keaden, the Bentz and Ramey Families of Batesville, AR, and many more not mentioned.
Visitation will be at the Arbanna Baptist Church located 13 miles out highway 5 South from 12-2pm Friday, October 9, 2020. Funeral is at 2:00 P.M. directly after, followed by a graveside service, at Flatwoods Cemetery. Brother Jim Chandler will officiate the service. For those wanting to social distance, you can tune your vehicle radio to 90.3 FM and listen to the funeral service, in the church parking lot.
Pallbearers: Kenny Knight, Jordan Atkins, Jim Atkins, Byron Knight, Jim Raker, and Christopher Knight.
